Questions families ask

Will my current doctor mind if I take a second opinion?

Second opinions are a normal part of good medical care, especially before major surgery, and most doctors welcome them. Our report is written so you can share it with your treating doctor.

Which reports do I need?

Discharge summaries, scan reports and images (CT, MRI, PET), biopsy reports, blood tests and current prescriptions. Your care coordinator will tell you exactly what's missing.

How fast will I get the opinion?

Critical-care cases are reviewed within 24 hours of receiving the reports. Regular reviews take up to 3 working days once all reports are in.

Is my medical information safe?

Reports are shared only with the specialist reviewing your case and our care team. They are never sold or used for advertising.

Is this an emergency service?

No. In an emergency, call 108 or go to the nearest hospital. Never delay emergency treatment to get a second opinion.

Don't make a big decision alone.
